Solutions provided:
DSS upgraded the existing Dallas server from ACC 4 to the latest Avigilon Control Center software, completing the required two‑step process from ACC 4 to ACC 5 and then to ACC 8. As part of this upgrade, all cameras were updated to the newest firmware and all eleven units will be added to the Dallas server. The Avigilon Smart Assurance Plan provides ongoing firmware updates and advanced system health monitoring. With this plan in place, firmware upgrades remain included as new software and device updates are released. In addition to the software enhancements, DSS replaced the existing Avigilon 2MP cameras with new 8MP interior dome cameras, which are also covered under the Smart Assurance Plan. These cameras remain fully supported under the customer’s existing Maintenance Agreement.
