DSS upgraded the existing Dallas server from ACC 4 to the latest Avigilon Control Center software, completing the required two‑step process from ACC 4 to ACC 5 and then to ACC 8. As part of this upgrade, all cameras were updated to the newest firmware and all eleven units were added to the Dallas server. The Avigilon Smart Assurance Plan provides ongoing firmware updates and advanced system health monitoring. With this plan in place, firmware upgrades remain included as new software and device updates are released. In addition to the software enhancements, DSS replaced the existing Avigilon 2MP cameras with new 8MP interior dome cameras, which are also covered under the Smart Assurance Plan. These cameras remain fully supported under the customer’s existing Maintenance Agreement.

Customer reached out to DSS to upgrade their Pelco server. Initially, it was configured with four 12TB drives. We have since added an additional four 12TB drives. We coordinated with Pelco Support to transfer the software licenses from VXPro1 to VXPro2. The process took some time, but we successfully removed the licenses from the old server and applied them to the new one. Lastly, we migrated 11 cameras from VXPro1 to VXPro2.

Customer contacted DSS to install a new IP video intercom system. DSS installed a new IP video Intercom system designed for a commercial setting. This included (1) IP Video/Intercom stations at the entry door and (1) IP desk station. The IXG Mobile App can receive calls from intercom stations, unlock doors, and monitor doors. We replaced and reconfigured the Gateway on our network everything was working and we were able to get mobile apps to work.

Customer reached out to DSS to have WinDSX reprogrammed on their database. In lieu of the Dallas Security Systems controlling and monitoring the building DSX System, we changed it so that it is all done on the engineer's office computer. Next we transferred the card holder data. Then we re-programmed of all DSX database information. Lastly we programmed, tested, trained and made operational on the engineer's computer (meeting DSX spec's).
