As a project manager with over 10 years of experience in the security industry, I have developed a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget. Card Reader for a Church

Customer contacted Dallas Security Systems to install a card reader. DSS pulled the reader cabling from the Prayer Garden Entry Door to the Electrical Room where the DSX Control Panel resides. We then, dropped the reader wire down the frame and installed the mullion mount reader. Lastly we programmed and tested the system.

Camera System for a Supply Company

Customer contacted DSS to install a uniview Tec camera system and a DMP alarm system. DSS installed DMP XT50 panel in office space and two keypads as well as Uniview Tech camera system. DSS also installed door contacts on all exterior doors and overhead doors. DSS programmed all devices to the panel and train customer on how to use the system.

Card Reader Upgrade for Residential Community

DMP Alarm System for an Emergency Room

Customer requested a new DMP alarm/keypad. We installed the DMP Alarm Panel/Keypad in the equipment room where the DSX equipment is located. Left the three panic buttons on the DSX panel and linked to the DMP Alarm panel so they can get the alarm on the DSX System and on the DMP Alarm System. Finally, we tested all three buttons to confirm central station has received the alarms.

Card Reader for a Global Manufacturing Company

Customer requested DSS to install a card reader, magnetic lock and exit buttons. We installed a card reader on two pedestrian gates where the electric strike is currently in place and conduit ran to it. We also provided the proper cabling, for the electrician to run the cabling from the reader to the control panel. On the third door, we installed the card reader, mag lock and exit buttons.

Gate Intercom for a Manufacturing Corporation

Customers requested DSS to install an Aiphone Video intercom system for the entrance gate. DSS used existing pedestal and added a new video intercom station. We installed a new mount that holds the existing keypad and new video intercom station. Next, we installed one master station at the receptionist desk. DSS to install mobile gateway for app access for two users to have access to open the gate remotely. Lastly, we trained the customer on how to use the system and app.

Access Control for a Real Estate Business

Customer requested current DSX system be replaced with Brivo access control system controlling the existing doors. We got rid of the old DSX 1021 cans and power supplies, installed Brivo 4 door package with lock power supply and programmed 3 doors for access control. We also tied in door ajar sensors into existing alarm system as instructed by client. Finally, we provided system training to the end user of whom will be managing the system.

Brivo Panels for a Church

Customer contacted Dallas Security because the Brivo panels were offline. We completed installing NEW ACS 6100 DB for client. We used three of them to get the doors back up and operating. We walked around the building testing each door to ensure they were working. We also fixed the DSC NEO that showed a yellow trouble light for Zone 13 that was removed. It needed to be deleted out of NEO system by keypad replaced back up battery in panel. Yellow light has been removed, and DSC is working.

Additional Electronic Devices for Gaming Store

Customer requested additional electronic devices for their doors. DSS supplied two panic bar electric latch retractions along with a power supply and door loop. Additionally, we supplied one electric strike and two door alarm sounders.

Added Cameras for a Logistics Company

Customer contacted us to add four 4K IP cameras to the dock doors and two 4MP IP cameras to the IT Room. We pulled the game changer cabling back from the camera locations to the server room. Second, we patched in each cable to the patch panel, POE Switch, and added the DW Licensing for the IT Room. Last, we installed the cameras for the dock doors, programmed and tested cameras to make sure everything worked properly. These cameras are designed to get the best view possible with one of Digital Watchdog highest resolution cameras.

Brivo Access Control for an Air Conditioning Company

Customer contacted us to take over their existing system and replace it with a new Brivo Access Control system. We replaced the existing broken Software House System with a new Brivo Access Control System. DSS also programmed the building access card format in the new system so the building card will work on the tenant system too.

Multi Sensor Camera for a Parking Garage

Customer contacted Dallas Security Systems to input a multi-head camera in the parking garage. We pulled outdoor rated cabling from the camera locations near the elevator. We installed the cameras on the wall, loaded the Avigilon Licensing and tested the cameras upon completion.

Access Control for a Real Estate Investment Company

Client requested a DK26 access control system on the glass door going into the reception to match the system put in for another suite. We went on to install the access panel/keypad, door position switch, exit button, exit motion and Inovonics wireless release button. Upon completion we made sure that the system worked properly.

Installed DMP Intrusion Detection System at an Electric Power Company

DSS installed a DMP XT50 Intrusion Detection Panel in the IT room and connected it to the network as well as installed door contacts at the two front doors. The existing warehouse alarm devices were tested and connected to the panel with wireless transmitters. Any devices that weren't working were replaced. A wireless keypad and one motion detector was installed in the warehouse. We also installed a 360 motion detector in the office area and a keypad inside the reception area door.

CCTV Updates for an Urgent Care Facility

Customer requested updates on the CCTV (cameras). We installed an IP Network Video Recorder (NVR) in the IT room and connected the new cameras to it. The four new megapixel IP cameras were installed in place of the existing IP cameras. DSS also programmed the cameras, NVR and trained personnel on how to use the system.

Upgraded Alarm and Access Systems at a Bank

Customer requested that Dallas Security Systems, Inc. takeover their existing alarm system devices, provide monitoring, and upgrade their card reader system. We provided an intrusion alarm system including a control panel, one keypad and one siren. We also took over the existing alarm system devices (motion detectors, duress buttons, etc.). DMP full APP was provided for the monitoring. We also upgraded existing card reader system for (4) doors, took over existing card reader setup devices and cabling, including release buttons. We successfully resolved the interface issues with the client’s network, enabling browser-based remote control and programming.

Installed Intercom at a Commercial Building

Customer wanted an intercom installed in their parking garage. We added (1) intercom to the garage in building #2. An intercom cable was run to the luxul switch located on the 1st floor inside the fire control room. At the end of the job, we verified with the security guard that he was able to both receive calls/video and dial out to the station itself for call/video.

New Commercial biz installed access and camera system

The client needed access control and camera systems for a new facility. DSS installed new systems with (5) Brivo readers & (1) ACS6100R-E panel, (4) HES electric door strikes and panic hardware, Honeywell exit devices, (7) Eagle Eye 4MP cameras with CMVR520 for up to 50 cameras. TRENDnet 24 port CAT6 panel, Battery back-up, mobile credentials and Brivo & Eagle Eye Cloud services.

Residential Community upgraded Access Control system

Replaced Access Control in Healthcare Facility

Interfaced the existing receiver to the DSX Access Control System to monitor the panic buttons and readers. Install the new DSX 1042 & 1048 Controllers to the existing system. Added and grouped the new locations to the hospitals main location on Win DSX Database with existing card holders. Programed each device with the door naming scheme provided. Wired each door into the device, program and test accordingly to meet the hospital's requirements. Also setup (2) WinDSX workstations at the facility for making badges.

Upgrade Burglary system at Construction Material Supplier

Dallas Security Systems replaced existing DMP-XT50 panel with a new DMP-XR150 panel as there are not enough zones available to cover the entire space on the exiting panel. Installed a 16-point zone expander above exterior door and connect all existing devices and a wireless repeater in the same location. Also installed a wireless door contact on the exterior door to the office. DSS connected all new and existing devices and zone expanders to new panel. DSS to programed devices to the panel and tested. Required 2 men and a scissor lift for install.
